Psalm 86:11 – “Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.”

What is UNITE?

Unite is the men's ministry at St. Andrew’s & St. Bartholomew’s which encompasses all the men’s activities that are currently happening here. This includes breakfasts, sporting activities, Monday men’s evenings, social events and much more...

The aim of Unite is to equip men of all ages to live Christ-centred lives to make a difference to our families, community and beyond. In essence, we hope to bring men to faith, and a greater understanding of their faith, in Jesus. St Andrew’s & St Bartholomew’s want to help provide the support necessary to equip men to discover who they are, to focus on God’s role in their lives, and to “do life” in the company of one another. Through Unite men’s breakfasts and our Monday evening meetings we hope to cover a wide range of topics including: Being a Father (or Grandfather), a Husband, Singleness, Marriage, Finances, The Bible and how to apply it, Worship & Prayer, Justice Issues, The Environment, God and Politics, The Workplace, Issues of Faith, Questions of life etc...

Our hope at St Andrew’s & St Bartholomew’s is that men will walk alongside each other as they grow in their spiritual and relational journeys. Young or old, single or married, we can all help one another along together. In Psalm 86:11 the psalmist challenges us to ‘walk in God’s truth and to unite our hearts to be in awe of God’ and His ways. Who better to learn from than the people around us? There is a lot to learn from each other. So why not consider attending a men’s breakfast, or a Monday Unite evening where you can meet other men who live near you and get connected with others? You’ll be glad you did.
